Well written, assumes you know the basics. Pictures could be clearer, or possibly annotated to show clay position and direction. This book does not fall into the common trap of becoming a eulogy to the author - no "when I won X competition", "when I was world champion...". John Bidwell has been there and done that, and doesn't boast about it. This book may not improve your scores, but it can point you in the right direction, and make you look at your technique in a different light, and as such is to be strongly recommended.
Very useful book that can only improve your scores.March 9, 2000 21 out of 21 found this review helpful
In this highly useful book, John Bidwell manages to combine a balanced mixture of practical and psychological advice. There are plenty of illustrations and photographs to back up John's highly successful and proven shooting technique. Even though the book only concentrates on John's technique, namely Move, Mount,Shoot, there is plenty there to think about and digest even for the most accomplished shooter. The video of the same title is pretty good too.
